Aveanna Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services
Aveanna provides companion and habilitation services designed to help care for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Some common conditions we work with include cerebral palsy, epilepsy, speech and language disorders, and care for those on the autism spectrum. Companion care brings non-medically trained caregivers to your home to provide health and safety, companionship, community activities, and other support for individuals. We can also arrange transportation or help with an outing or appointments for your loved one.
Habilitation services offer a higher level of care. Habilitation specialists are trained to teach life skills and individualized functional goals. Our habilitation services take into account where our clients are, and we then create a plan designed to help them live as productively, independently, and safely as possible within the community.
