In the state of Colorado, parents and family members who meet certain eligibility requirements have the opportunity to be compensated for providing care to their loved ones. At Aveanna, we are pleased to offer our Family CNA Program and In-Home Support Services to help empower you to provide the right care for your family.
Family CNA Program
The Colorado CNA program allows parents, relatives, and others who meet Colorado’s eligibility requirements to care for their loved ones and receive pay for carrying out those duties. With Aveanna, you get a committed partner in Colorado and a national leader in care that can provide you with the support you need to get started as a CNA. We’ll help guide you through the process of the CNA program, which can be difficult to navigate. As a CNA, you’ll be able to care for your loved one while earning an income as an Aveanna employee.
Contact us today to set up an evaluation to determine whether your family member may be eligible for services. If your family qualifies, our staff will assist you with choosing and enrolling in an accredited CNA school. Once you have completed your CNA classes and become a Certified Nursing Assistant, we will coordinate your orientation and employment with Aveanna and get care started for your family. Our team will support and guide you through every step of this process.
If you are currently a CNA and wish to be your child or family member’s caregiver, contact us today to get started.

We are excited to help you access this service that promotes your autonomy and allows you to get the most out of your in-home healthcare. The following waivers allow for patients to receive the services and benefits of IHSS through Health First Colorado (Medicaid):
