We’re excited to tell you about a new program that has been developed for Arizona residents.
The Family Licensed Health Aide Program (LHA) will allow family members to provide care for their loved ones and receive pay for that care.
Aveanna is an approved provider in Arizona, and this program is now ready to go. Please reach out to your Aveanna location today to schedule your training and sign up now.
How does the LHA program work?
Arizona’s LHA program allows parents, relatives, and others who meet the eligibility requirements to care for their loved ones and receive pay for carrying out those duties. With Aveanna, you get a committed partner in Arizona and a national leader in care who can provide you with the support and training you need to become a Licensed Health Aide.
If you wish to be your child or family member’s caregiver, contact us today. We will handle the training and the details, and make it easy to get started.
The care you will provide through this program includes but is not limited to:
Bathing | Incontinence care | Application of AFOs |
Hair care | Meal prep | Transfers |
Oral care | Oral feeding | Light housekeeping/laundry |
Dressing | G-tube-feeding | Application of preset oxygen |
Toileting | Range of motion exercises | Tracheostomy care |
Will training be required?
Your training will include a self-paced course to become a Licensed Health Aide. This course has been approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing and comes from one of the nation’s leaders in pediatric care, Aveanna Healthcare. Our courses are designed to work with your schedule and at your pace. You can even choose to take your course virtually or in person. In other words, it’s a flexible course that fits your schedule.
Once you have completed your course, there is a final skills validation and an orientation.
How do I sign up?
