Hannah joined the Aveanna team soon after completing her occupational therapy graduate program in 2019. She began her OT career with a strong sense of purpose. Her passion has only grown since then, thanks to the life-changing relationships and fun she’s found along the way.
“Pediatric occupational therapy is an opportunity to engage with beautifully unique children and help them reach their goals as they engage with the world around them,” Hannah shares. “I am honored to help them do and be all that they want. I love my job because it is so fun to see children learn to engage more in their everyday life activities, such as getting ready in the morning and playing with friends.”
Fun is a central part of Hannah’s work here at Aveanna, where it is also one of our Core Values. “It is important to make fun a priority in my life,” Hannah notes. “Working as a pediatric occupational therapist allows just that. Being a child is fun, and I get to help children learn how to do all the things they want and need to do every day. Plus, not many people have a job in which they get to jump on trampolines, swing, and skip down the hallway every day!”
Hannah works hard to make her therapy sessions both enjoyable and clinically effective. With her expertise, creativity, and compassion, it’s no surprise that she has built incredible bonds with the children she serves as well as with her fellow Aveanna team members.
“I love developing relationships with the children I see and watching them meet their goals,” Hannah says. “Many of the kids I see also receive physical therapy and speech therapy services. Being a part of the Aveanna team means working with my fellow therapists to foster growth in all areas of our patients’ lives. At Aveanna, I have found friends whom I love to work alongside.”
